Metoclopramide is a gastrointestinal stimulant used to treat gastroesophageal reflux and erosions/ulcers of the esophagus. It is also used to treat nausea, vomiting, heartburn, prolonged fullness after meals, and loss of appetite in patients with diabetes (diabetic gastroparesis). It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your veterinarian.
Metoclopramide is a generic medication, and therefore we may have different manufacturers at any given time. Tablets may vary in appearance. Most 5mg metoclopramide tablets are not scored, but the 10mg metoclopramide are usually scored.
