Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication. It is like an antibiotic but is used to treat fungal infections. Ketoconazole is used to treat yeast infections of the mouth, throat, and esophagus; fungal infections throughout the whole body; and serious fungal infections of the skin and nails. It may be used for other conditions as determined by your veterinarian.
Ketoconazole is a generic medication, and therefore we may have different manufacturers at any given time. Tablets may vary in appearance. Most ketoconazole tablets are scored.
